E’ pronto il secondo album dei Bloc Party, in uscita a febbraio

E’ quasi tutto pronto per l’album numero 2 dei Bloc Party, molto atteso dopo il grande successo dell’esordio “Silent Alarm” considerato uno dei migliori del 2005. Il nuovo disco, che sarà intitolato “A Weekend In The City”, sarà reso disponibile dal 5 febbraio 2007 e sarà preceduto dal singolo apripista “The Prayer” il 29 gennaio.
‘A Weekend In The City’ è stato prodotto da Jacknife Lee e registrato ai Grouse Studios in Irlanda. Svelata anche la tracklist:

A partire dal 7 novembre, Keke Okereke & Co. si imbarcheranno in una lunga tournèe negli States che si concluderà il 9 dicembre a San Diego in California. Un mese di stop, quindi la ripartenza per un altresì lungo tour del Regno Unito dal 27 gennaio (Southampton Guildhall) al 22 febbraio. Un successivo tour europeo è probabile ma non è ancora stato annunciato.
