“Should Have Known Better” di Sufjan Stevens votato MIGLIOR PEZZO DEL 2015 dallo staff di Extra! Music Magazine

1) Sufjan Stevens – Should Have Known Better (da “Carrie & Lowell”)

Key lyrics:

When I was three, and free to explore
I saw her face on the back of the door
Be my rest, be my fantasy
Be my rest, be my fantasy

I should have known better
Nothing can be changed
The past is still the past
The bridge to nowhere
I should have wrote a letter
Explaining what I feel, that empty feeling

2) David Bowie – Blackstar (da “Blackstar”)

Key lyrics:

Something happened on the day he died
Spirit rose a metre and stepped aside
Somebody else took his place, and bravely cried
(I’m a blackstar, I’m a blackstar)

How many times does an angel fall?
How many people lie instead of talking tall?
He trod on sacred ground, he cried loud into the crowd
(I’m a blackstar, I’m a blackstar, I’m not a gangstar)

3) Julia Holter – Feel You (da “Have You In My Wilderness”)

Key lyrics:

Can I feel you? Are you
Mythological?

Figures pass so quickly
That I realize my
Eyes know very well
It’s impossible to see
Who I’m waiting for in
My raincoat

4) Tame Impala – Let It Happen (da “Currents”)
5) Low – Lies (da “Ones And Sixes”)
6) Jamie xx – Loud Places (feat. Romy) (da “In Colour”)
7) Algiers – Black Eunuch (da “Algiers”)
8) Sleater-Kinney – No Cities To Love (da “No Cities To Love”)
9) Sun Kil Moon – With A Sort Of Grace I Walked To The Bathroom To Cry (da “Universal Themes”)
10) Kurt Vile – Pretty Pimpin’ (da “”B’lieve I’m Goin Down”).
