Bob Dylan Da ottobre in commercio i "demo" del giovane Dylan 2/09/2010 di Francesco Donadio

Vedranno la luce il 18 ottobre i primi demo-tapes professionali incisi da un giovanissimo Bob Dylan a New York City all'inizio della carriera, nell'ambito del prossimo (nono) episodio della sua rinomata Bootleg Series, che sarà intitolato: The Witmark Demos.

Si tratta in tutto di 47 brani spalmati su due CD, che vennero incisi da Dylan per chitarra e voce per il suo primo editore, la Leeds Music, nel gennaio 1962, e per il secondo, la M. Witmark & Sons, tra il 1962 e il 1964.

Ascoltando questi demo, sarà possibile verificare l'impressionante crescita di Dylan come autore nell'arco di due anni, dalle prime canzoni in linea con la tradizione folk come Man On The Street e Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Willie, passando per gli "impegnati" Blowin’ In The Wind, The Times They Are A Changin’ e Masters Of War fino ad arrivare alla più personale poetica surrealista di Mr. Tambourine Man.
Tra i vari brani della nuova raccolta, ben 15 sono stati registrati da Dylan solo per queste sessions e risultano inediti altrove. Tra questi: Ballad For A Friend, Long Ago, Far Away, The Death Of Emmett Till e Guess I’m Doing Fine.
