L'autorevole magazine americano on-line Pitchfork ha appena rivelato la sua Top 100 dei migliori brani del 2008 in base al poll condotto tra i collaboratori. Trionfa - non per la prima volta - una produzione del giro DFA, quegli Hercules And Love Affair che piazzano al n.1 l'onnipresente singolo "Blind" e al n. 21 "Hercules' Theme". Posti d'onore per i Fleet Foxes di "White Winter Hymnal" e gli Hot Chip di "Ready for the Floor", mentre fa una gran figura il duo electro australiano Cut Copy (due pezzi tra i primi venti: "Hearts On Fire" al n.7 e "Out There On The Ice" al n.12).
