John Lennon In uscita "Nowhere Boy" con i suoni che influenzarono il giovane Lennon 19/11/2009 di Fredo Cane

E' in uscita per Sony il 14 dicembre "Nowhere Boy", doppio CD colonna sonora del biopic della regista Sam Taylor-Wood, presentato qualche giorno fa anche al Festival di Torino, che racconta la difficile adolescenza di John Lennon a Liverpool negli anni '50 e primi '60, quando con due coetanei chiamati Paul McCartney e George Harrison formò i Quarrymen, un complessino che di lì a poco avrebbe cambiato nome in The Beatles. La pellicola, che vede Aaron Johnson nei panni di John Lennon, Kristin Scott Thomas nel ruolo della Zia Mimi e Anne Marie Duff nel ruolo della mamma di John, ha anche ottenuto la (rara, per operazioni di questo tipo) benedizione di Yoko Ono.

All'interno dell'album è presente una ricca selezione di brani di tutti gli artisti rock and roll e rhythm'n'blues che accesero la passione per la musica del giovane John, più un significativo brano dello stesso Lennon, la celebre "Mother", pubblicata nel 1970 e dedicata alla madre Julia.
