The Jesus & Mary Chain Box-set in arrivo per i Jesus & Mary Chain 27/06/2008 di Francesco Donadio

La losangelina etichetta Rhino Records ha rivelato i dettagli di un intrigante box-set di 4 CD dedicato agli scozzesi Jesus & Mary Chain - band basilare degli anni '80 -, "The Power Of Negative Thinking: B-Sides & Rarities" in uscita il 30 settembre.

Si tratta, di fatto, di una versione super-extended della compilation del 1988 "Barbed Wire Kisses" da cui sono ripresi 19 dei 20 brani, con l'aggiunta di una pletora di brani inediti, demo, e versioni alternative di brani noti.

In particolare i 4 dischi presentano, in ordine cronologico, il brano dell'epoca "Psychocandy" "Walk and Crawl", versioni alternative di "Never Understand" e di "Coast to Coast", i demo di "My Little Underground" "The Living End" e "Dirty Water" e l'inedita "Till I Found You".
