Fleet Foxes Il debutto "folk-pop" dei Fleet Foxes è il miglior album del 2008 secondo i redattori di Mojo 26/11/2008 di Francesco Donadio

Novembre non è ancora finito, e per chiudere l'anno c'è ancora tutto il mese di dicembre, ma per le maggiori testate musicali del globo è già tutto fatto e scritto; e alcuni mensili hanno già chiuso il numero datato gennaio 2009 che contiene, come da tradizione, l'attesissima lista dei "best albums of the year". Il primo peso massimo della music press a comunicare "the best of 2008" secondo i propri critici è stato - oggi - il mensile britannico Mojo che ha incoronato, come peraltro previsto, il debutto dei pop-folkers Fleet Foxes. Si segnala al 4° posto l'altro grande esordiente dell'anno, il malinconico Bon Iver, superato dagli scintillanti - seppur molto retrò - Last Shadow Puppets e dal sempreverde Paul Weller. Solo 20esimi i Tv On The Radio di "Dear Science" e 21esimi Amadou & Mariam con "Welcome To Mali", un album appena pubblicato che si prevede possa riservare sorprese in altre liste di fine anno. Non pervenuti invece i Coldplay, il cui "Viva La Vida" è tra i bestseller del 2008 ma che notoriamente non sono troppo popolari da queste parti.
